Project Healing Waters was a success
Held Oct.10-11, Project Healing Waters and River’s Edge Outfitters put together a fly fishing weekend for 26 injured and disabled veterans.
The agenda for the weekend was as follows:
Saturday 8am – 4pm Fly Fishing clinic for vets and guests; Saturday night 6pm - 9pm Healing Waters Banquet Included Dinner, hundreds of fly fishing raffle items
and gear, Curtis Fleming with the Sportsmen’s Channel TV show “Fly Rod Chronicles” emceed the banquet.
Sunday Oct.11 8am – 2pm Veterans only fly fishing competition.
We'd like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to all our customers that made our work with this organization possible.
Fly Tying classes
Mark your calendar! Fly tying classes start Thursday, Jan.7, 5-8pm. Every Thursday night we’ll teach you how to tie specific Appalachian Fly patterns. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced tier, it’s a great time to learn new techniques and share ideas. These classes are open to everyone and are free.

Salt Water Fly Fishing
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with one of Florida’s top guides on the Gulf Coast and are now offering salt water fly fishing destination packages to the Naples/Marco Island area. Picture this: Tarpon, Snook, Jack Cravalle, and bid Red Drums…..All “on the Fly”. Our most recent trip last week was impressive with each angler catching plenty of Snook and Jack Cravalles in the 10-15 pound range and Tarpon in the 40 pound range, all on the fly. Give us a call and we’ll put a trip together for you.

The River’s Edge Trophy Waters continue to be a premier fly fishing destination for the fisherman that wants seclusion, rainbows and brown trout up to 30 inches, and some of the prettiest trout waters on the east coast. If you are interested in booking a trip give us a call.

Guide Services
Our staff of professional guides specialize in wading for trophy mountain trout and drift boat fishing
for trout and smallmouth bass. Because of current permits that we guide in the Pisgah National Forest under permit TOE 6527-01
We also have access to 5 miles of privately managed trophy waters and limited access trout streams.
As a “Creek Company” pro shop, our guides offer float
trips on the French Broad, the North Toe, the Nolichucky, the South Holston, and the Watauga Rivers.

Our instructors are all certified fly fishing instructors and are dedicated to teaching, educating and
